St. Joseph Secondary School, Emene was born on the 3rd of September, 2001. It is a daughter school of St. Mary’s Nursery/Primary School, Emene. It was named St. Joseph the husband of Mary, mother of God because it was St. Joseph Catholic Church established school under the Catholic mission schools. It Started from JS1 with a total number of 140 students with a good number of pupils from St. Mary’s Nursery/Primary School, Emene.
Rev. Fr. Ignatius Emefo was the St. Joseph Parish Administrator assisted by Rev. Fr. Gozie Nnebedum at the inception of this School. They gave their maximum support and encouragement in the growth of the school.
