I have once shown you how to retrieve your MTN backup phone numbers. Today, I will show you how to know/check new MTN,  Glo, 9mobile and Airtel phone number by dialing a simply code.

Why do you need to know how to retrieve your phone number?

 When you buy a new line it can take some time for you to get use to the new phone number OR LINE.

Sometimes, you may have more than 5 phone number; having all phone number off hand can be difficult .

Let’s look at this scenario before I proceed to show how to check your phone number;

You bought a new line. One day, you were coming back from church and suddenly you met your long time friend.  As two of you were discussing, he promised he will offer you a job. Halleluiah! Your prayer is answered! He requested for your phone number in order to send you a message for the job and you cannot even remember 4 digits of your phone number. Unfortunately, you don’t even have your phone with you.

I can’t believe you will lose the job just like that!

So, follow the process I will show below to retrieve your phone number whether it is MTN, Glo, 9mobi le or Airtel.

How to Check/Retrieve your Phone Number on MTN, Glo 9mobile & Airtel

There are some USSD codes you can easily dial to retrieve your phone number on MTN, Etisalat, Airtel or Glo. I will be explaining how to use this code to check for your phone number below.

Code to Check Your MTN Phone Number

To check your phone number on Mtn, you can dial *123*1*1# or follow the steps below:

1. Dial *123# and follow the on screen prompt.
2. Select option 1 for Account Information.
3. Select option 1 for my number.

Or

You can dial *123# and follow the on screen prompt. Select option 1 and send to select My Tools Option. Then select option 5 in My Tools to request My Number.

Code to Check Your 9mobile or Etisalat Phone Number

To check your phone number on 9Mobile or Etisalat, simply dial *248# and you number would be displayed on the screen.

Code to Check Your Glo Phone Number

To check your phone number on Glo, simply dial *135*8# and your number would be displayed on the screen.

Code to Check Your Airtel Phone Number

To check your Airtel phone number, follow the steps below:

1. Dial *121# and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Select 1, and send for My Account option.
3. On the next prompt, select 1 and send as My Number option and your number would be displayed on the screen.
